    Anyone know where i can get my hands on low-density chipboard?

    The kind of thing you make a wall-hung notice board out of. but i want to buy it quite large. about 6' x 2'

    The big B&Q by me said they just dont sell it

    Builders merchants like jewsons maybe, local sawmill, travis perkins, those are what i can think of, off the top of my head

    Afaik Chipboard comes in Normal, Medium and High Density (High is the stuff used for building cupboards and worktops etc).
    Maybe you should ask for Normal?

    You can get special notice board material from a lot of builders merchants, which you can put pins etc in, but it doesn't crumble or go horrible like cork does. Not sure of the name, but its what we have, covered in fabric around work.
