Myspace layout help?

hi, does anyone know how to make my current myspace layout "skinnier" I found a site that listed a code that should do such an effect but it didn't work...
so has anyone got a "skinnier" /shrinking code/html that I could input into my profile to reduce its size/width etc...
for example the site i found that wouldnt work for me said this...

so the same as that but that actually works!

Have you tried copying and pasting the stuff in the text box on the site?
