I think i need a moisturising one, thought i'd ask here before spending £££s on trying all out there.
I've lasted this long without using one but my skin comes out really dry after a shower down here, might be the water

Nivea for Men or Simple are the ones I have used - both are good IMO
I'm a real man, I just use gravel ;)
Apricot Scrub ftw!
i use Nivea for men and its superb, i've also heard King Of Shaves do some great products as well
although i've started to moisturise with Vaseline Intensive Care moisturiser before bed
god we sound like a bunch of women, i mite go and shave with glass to look a bit more masculine
Nivea for Men, daily I use their soap free moisturising face wash, then once or twice a week I use their Invigorating Face stuff (exfoliates or something)
Then have a shave with my Nivea Phillishave electric razor, followed by Extra Soothing Balm (the sensitive one). After that whatever aftershave I want to wear :)
I quite like the Boss Skin stuff but only if the missus buys it ! :p
I seem to get something new from the range every time she goes to Boots and there's an offer she just can't resist on Clinique or something similar for herself. Wonderful thing, guilt
I've started using Clinique in the past few weeks. You can experiment with various products without spending, just ask for samples.
Clean and Clear exfoliating daily facewash and Clinique moisturising gel (it's the bomb!)
Some of my many man friends say that clinique is good for you manly types!
Another vote for Clinique.
Akasa TIM remover.
"Because you are worth it" heh
Nivea for moisturising, the scrubs from Next aren't bad either for a bit of exfoliation action!!
Go to a chemist and ask for a pot of aqueous cream, you want their own brand its cheaper. Its the standard treatment for eczema, can be used to clean skin, or to moisturise after washing. We use it at work due to handling chemicals all day. Its cheap and is non allergenic.
If your face is dry , you dont want a scrub for it as this could irritate it even more, you want to apply a moisturiser.
Ajax, Vim, Cif, any decent kitchen moisturiser :)
soap?
Doesn't seem to do any harm.. I was ID'd buying alcohol the other week and I'm nearly 30...
I was actually trying to promote a sense of masculinity into this thread by making soap an extreme thing to use because I think it's rather comical seeing which man uses what. Obviously it's going to be a "for men" product because men feel that if they don't use this then they're going to ruin their self worth as a man ;)
Hot water and nothing else. I haven't had a problem with spots since I stopped using all these things!
Agree with Mr Chicken. Water does the job great, and as a bonus, by using it in preference to other things, I'm making a small but significant dent in the cosmetics industry's budget for brain-dead advertising.
Simple face wash/scrub followed by Nivea for Men hydrating balm.
If i want to be really fassy though ill use this stuff the girlie found. You rinse your face with warm water then put on this face wash stuff that cleans out pores to get rid of all the blackheads. It feels awesome on your face because as it touches your skin it starts to warm up. Its called Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser.
/fassy rant
I use sand mixed with engine oil </testosterone>
What's washing?
Its not bad, it only gets me when i come out the shower, thats where i wash my face, when i\'m drying off my face gets very flaky in places and using just water it takes a while to get off, like i have to re-rinse my face several times in the half-hour after a shower because it\'ll keep flaking and then calms down. Then its fine for days
Luckily enough for me i dont suffer from dry skin. Though dry lips i do.
Get a pot of vaseline from the chemist... I bought an E45 lip thingy for mine and it was rubbish, my lips are much better after a couple of days using vaseline.
As for bodywash for dry skin, you can't go wrong with Dove! I love Dove stuff, though it probably stinks too much for you Guys :)
Anyone got a good remedy for dry skin on the arms?
I think it's the water in Swindon or something.. cos i never used to get it, but it's really starting to annoy me now.. hah or maybe i just have the shower on too hot :P
Move away from Swindon - good for more than just your arms ;)
