Hypothetically speaking if someone owed someone else money and they knew the other person's phone number could you then find out there address from that phone number?

There was this thread not long ago, I cant remember what the outcome was though
No, is the short answer. The only people with the ability to do that are the operators who own the customer. For example, when I worked at Orange, if the police needed info on a customer, they had to fax through a form signed by at least an Inspector (if I remember correctly) before Orange would release the customer's name and address.

Its a landline not a mobile..
Get someone else to ring up and tell them they are entitled to a free promotional case of wine from Opodo, asking them to confirm their address and their preferred delivery time, am or pm.
Then go round and smash their legs or threaten to drown them in their bath.
I'm not a lawyer and make no warrant as to the legality of the above
I looked on the net for you, but am unable to include the info on this post..
In the yahoo address bar I typed: ''find an address from a known phone number''
I think the one you want was about the fourth or fifth down
It can help you if its in the US or Canada,
If in the UK maybe you be able to get a 'hint' of your options from what info you can pick up from the given website..
Hope this helps...
(If I'm 'off-par', plse 4giv me - - I'm new!!)
No you cannot, unless you know someone working at their provider. Or a mate in the police force that owes you a favour.
Were back to cib /libs again , . ye. ya it is extremely possible . As the chap said 'look at google' but when it comes tae 'legal ' most of ye at 'staunch'' upright chappies ' afraid it don't work that way in real life . Everything req , H . S . Sig . don't always work that way . Just the way things are . At the end of the day ' ye have to be safe '' better for everyone including cib/libs.
