A bit off topic, but I'm curious,

is this a replacment mobo/cpu for the PC world broke PC's ?
Did pc world send you this or did you decide to repalce it yourself ?
    It is Inevitable.....

Use your Windows disc to do a repair not a re-install, it is because you have changed a significant part of the machine and your drive controllers have changed. A repair should sort it leaving your machine as was.

The only thing is that you will need to re-activate as your installation ID will have changed due to new hardware (the ID is made of CD key and combination of hardware). This means you will need to phone MS (India btw).

    Hope this helps.

I would do a fresh install, especially as it is near enough a new machine.

    Oops, read it wrong

If it was for me, I would buy a cheap sata drive and an Icy Box. They should set you back less than a prebuilt one, and you can choose the make and model of the drive and the enclosure.
