Odd question time

How come my Samsung remote volume buttons work and the others don't?

New batteries in it too - and even when close to the panel

Its for a LCD TV

probadly dirt and gunk under the buttons causing the probs

I think you can reset the remote, there's a button on it that you need to hold in with a pencil tip or something, So i've read anyway.
