Yeah why not I'll shut "mine down" but not my mates when I'm at his house at the weekend.

I tend to shut mine down when I'm not going to be in for a day or two anyway. Save's my bills and the cash can go on more fun things

I shut mine down whenever I leave the room for more than 15 mins (ie to go and cook or go into uni etc) but I couldn't go a whole day without it.

Maybe generally I could, but not with my final project/dissertation due in, in 3 weeks or something.

doesn't work for me either but I guess its about not turning your pc off for one whole day as some kind of econimcal exercise.. or social exercise etc..

I always turn mine off when im not using it anyway..stupid to leave it on....unless its my laptop...cus that does all my downloading

No, it's about going one day without turning your pc ON! Ie can you live without it for 24 hours.

I can't get on the site to find out the exact details, but if it's about not using a computer for 24 hours, Meh - done it before plenty of times; can do it again no problem.

Unless it's a work day, in which case no chance

Yes, I can go weeks without turning my pc on, but I do this because I want to, not because some twonk thinks "lets put a useless site up and see how many people we can get to turn their pcs off".

I'm sick off these useless things people dream, just about every day now is a 'dedicated' day.
