I just saw this http://www.kysoh.com/, home of the Tux Droid... I had a quick look and it looks like it is a Linux penguin wirelessly connected to your computer and you can make it do stuff.

That is pretty cool, but I wouldn't have a clue how to use it....

Could be interesting to keep an eye on - if a decent sized dev community springs up it could spawn some nice hassle-free downloadable scripts.

Don't have the patience to attempt something like this myself
