I know it's half in jest but these comments are a little pathetic, grow up.
Still touchy about it though, eh?

I don't say it through any particular sentiment towards ginger people, more that I'm aware of how much cr@p they have to put up with. Sorry if it sounded otherwise. I've seen 40 year old guys get taunted across the street by grown men....ginger guys have a harder time of it than a black guy in the deep South US during the 1960s...

    Not in my experience...

And I'm not touchy about it, if someone wants to mock me about it then go ahead, it's a free country. I just think comparing it to other, much worse things is a bit silly

I don't think his comments were so much a dig a ginger people as an observation of the general stick they take

Nor have I, quite the opposite actually. Especially with local females in Spain / Portugal, they seem amazed.

My dad's sister is suspisciously strawberry blonde, and her son (my cousin) had red hair the last time I saw him. I have very flat coloured blue/grey eyes though so I thought I'd escaped- until through laziness I let my beard grow.

I have brown hair and black eyebrows- but shine a bit of light on my beard and it practically iridesces- red all over the shop- sneaky red hairs here ther and everywhere. I might have to become a viking.

Our family is all like that too... All dark haired

I can't put blonde hightlights in my hair as they go copper, i've got red in my natural hair colour... (hence the rumours a few years back that i'm red haired... I'm not!) My Uncles beard goes ginger too.
