    Question Need an industrial fan, can you help me out

    Well its summer again, and with 3 computers in this room its getting kinda hot (i can spend 20 mins in here max). So I need cooling, and fast. Its suppposed to hit 37c this week and i dont wanta not be cooled by then. So where can I go to get a large fan ??? (I'm talking 1m sq here)

    get air con £150 ish at b&q cant be much more than the fan really can it ??

    duno, you could buy a large petrol motor and stick big pieces of plastic on it

    the problem with most portable aircon is the venting pipe.
    Air con will generally work best in sealed rooms - think about a fridge, it works best with the door closed yes?

    So portable aircon units have a vent hose you bung out of the window, thus leaving your fridge door open.

    they are excellent- cousin has one in his 4mx4m bedroom (jammy git ) and it cools the room brilliantly. In an even smaller bedroom... you may never leave the house again and then there are obvious benefits to your temps etc. I think it was Royce who iirc is an american (have air con as standard in houses) and he was saying his summer temps are as low if not lower than winter

    You can get a decent one from b&q or someplace like that for a about £150 mate tho prices are coming down. Dnt expect any deals this weekedn tho matey
