    I found the news article amusing:
    "This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make," the statement went on to say.
    So what? She didn't take an active role in her own decisions?
    I don't even know how you do that.
    Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore denied that Hilton would not be getting any special treatment because of her celebrity status.
    So, it's true, she will be getting special treatment.

    Now that Paris Hilton is all banged up in prison, it seems that the world is largely unsympathetic. One person is so unmoved by Hilton's plight is the eBay vendor selling a Paris Hilton prison doll!

    This vendor quips "Poor Paris, found herself in jail, may as well make the best of it. Who says you cant make orange Hot? Also what a pleasant surprise her jailers provided her with her own little companion for her stay."

    IMHO celebrities should be punished more than regular people, as they are role models and should know that people are going to copy them. Stick her in jail for the maximum recommended time, and see how much her behavious improves after she gets out.
