    Cold calls from "Touch100"

    Hi all,

If anyone get a cold call from these guys about their mobiles please PM me or reply here, they're cold calling for T-Mobile sales which is now STRICTLY forbidden by T-Mobile themselves.

After trying to explain this to the disinterested pea-brain in the call center I gave up.

The more people that can give me info on this the better, I can then get them barred from selling T-Mobile.

    Thanks

    Tom

Next time they call, tell them that you're a distributions manager at T-Mobile, they are breaching contract and will be hearing from you soon, then hang up before they can answer back.

I know this is an old thread but it's the only appropriate place I can post these guys details.

I recently renewed my Orange contract. Three weeks later I've started to receive my first sms spam. One *appears* has come from a company called Touch100. Athough I'm not certain it's the same one mentioned above (unless they've added another business line). However I received this message from this mobile phone number +447797803204 (or 0779780324 or even +44 7797 803204 or maybe 07797 803204.... is that enough now Google?):

"NEED CASH, £3000+ BAD CREDIT AND CCJ's OK!! CALL EASY TOUCH LOANS ON 01253757061 OR REPLY YES"

    (Google, that could be 01253 757061 or +441253757601 or even +44 1253 757061)

When I replied to the sms with "Don't spend sms spam again" (polite huh?)

    I received this autoreply from a Touch100

"Thank you for your text message. One of our team will deal with your enquiry within the next 24 hours"
    ---------------------------------------------------------

The STD code 01252 is for Blackpool Lancashire UK. Othwerwise there is no reference for the number on the web.

There is a home page at "the usual" dot touch100 dot co dot uk

    This is registerered to:
    Eurocom Limited (Company number: 4400146)
    19 Caunce Street
    Blackpool
    Blackpool
    FY1 3DT
    GB

However, company No 4400146 went into liquidation and was finally wound up on 07/03/2007.Their registered address and name was:

    EUROCOM GB LIMITED
    36 CLARE ROAD
    HALIFAX
    WEST YORKSHIRE HX1 2HX

    BUT GUESS WHAT!

There is a proper web site at "the usual" dot eurocomgb dot com... and it's a mobile phone web shop that was trading as:

Eurocom GB Ltd , Company Reg No: 4400146 VAT No: 803 8814 29
    Registered Office: 19 - 21 Caunce St Blackpool, Lancashire, FY1 3DT
    Fax: 01253 293112

I say was, as the sales phone number is dead and all the phones listed are old.

But a guess is that Touch100 and this now bust company EuroCom GB are/were run by the same dodgy geeza and that he's now given up on the phone business ('cos he's useless at it!) and is now running an extremely dodgy credit/loan business and sending sms spam.

I wonder what this bloke's name is? Where does he get his spam telephone number database from?

they buy databases... companies that close sell on there contact list, it just keeps going on and on

go sign up to the telephone prefrence service, it will reduce the spam by 90%, but you can never stop it.

the most common call i get is for my orange contract phone.. they call me up, start to waffle on about my contract and they can save me xx amount.. i stop em dead in there tracks and say

your nothing but a cheap conman, i shall be reporting you and your company for fraud, if they ask why i quite simply reply with..

"its a pay as you go mobile fool" and hang up

    Fax preference

    Cheers for the replies.
All phone numbers I use are already registered with the fax/telephone preference service and have been for some years. As I understand it though this service does not cover sms spam (or at least it didn't last time I looked into it).
