I haven't seen any of her shows, I only recently found out she was the one behind the whole "bovvered" thing.
But there is one clip I came across that did have me in stitches, it's when she's in a french oral exam and says "regardez mon visage, regardez mon visage, bovvered??"

I have no idea what she's like otherwise....
thats not funny tho thats as funny as david bents dance, years later and Gervais is still doing it.. hoping someone in the audience will laugh. they dont even ask anymore, he has to suggest he does it.

I thought the christmas one was funny in parts due to her attitude and some of the comments from Tennant such as the 1 in the lift where Tates nagging her soon to be husband. He looks at her and does the eyes to the top of the head while turning to the Doctor who said to him " till death do you part ..."
I can see it working in the odd episode but not all the time.
I guess it's better to just have the one good impression than to bother viewing what the others are like then... like I say, I had no idea what the whole "bovvered" thing was about anyway....as as madduck pointed out:
David who? . . . See, this is the same as Catherine Tate - I don't know these things.....thats as funny as david bents dance, years later and Gervais is still doing it
Ricky Gervais is possibly the most unfunny person i have ever had the misfortune to watch on TV
i think it went down hill once tenant joined
is that true ?Which sparked the Trebor Bassett company to write to the BBC complaining .....
It is Inevitable.....
Yes. It was covered in "Doctor Who - The Eighties" book, with the BBC replying and saying the Kandyman was in no way similar to 'Berty Bassett', but also assuring them that the monster would not be reappearing in the show.
Sure there was a newspaper clipping in the book too...
fantastic information - nothing like bertie bassat, apart from being made of bassets allsorts and looking identical but with a fatter head.
It is Inevitable.....
