What do you want to happen to you when you die?

I want to be buried rather than burned but for no reason really

I'm determined not to have a Funeral. I've been to too many Funerals in my lifetime... what a horrible load of rigmarole.. i'm not putting my Kids through that rubbish ( my Dad's Funeral was the most traumatic thing i've ever witnessed ) I don't want my kids going through the same.

My Body is being left to Med Science to do with what they will ( my Body means nothing, it's just a shell that holds my spirit ) and my Kids can remember me in their own way... without feeling obliged to go sit in a cold Church that they never normally visit, i'm not religious so i'd feel a hypocrite to have a conventional Funeral, that's not what i'm about! i'm about fun, and living a life not mourning a death, I want my Boys to see it as a positive thing

    Cremated for me.

My other long term plan was to disprove the notion that you can't take it with you. To this end I planned to have at my burial a large bonfire of all my worldly goods and cash lit at the graveside and then have the ashes pushed on top of my coffin before the grave was filled in. This would, of course, be done under the gaze of all my loved ones and family, hoping for a few sheckels in my will.

And why didn't you create the "Be sent into space like Scotty" option?

I hate funerals also but it is not all sad, I can only comment on my experiences and they have not been nice but I would say its part of saying goodbye and its better with them than without.

You might not know this , but bodies get returned to loved ones after use! I think its about 3 yrs they hold the bodies for , then the family gets them back .

That would come under other and then for you to explain, as I am sure there are other unconventional ways like dumped at sea?

Don't matter really, everyone knows you float up to heaven to live with God and all the angels for ever and ever with all the good people. Don't you read the Bible? The truth is in there.

When I looked into it I was told your given a choice when you make the arrangements, either be returned to family or be disposed of.

Well, I want to be an organ donor...so let the doctors take what they need to save some lives, and anything else they can experiment on or whatever they need to do, it's not use to me after all!
