    Message board attitude problems.

I'll start with saying that this is an exeption to most. This forum/message board is one of few that, in my experience has decent people on it.
    However....

The majority of message boards I come across on the internet are FULL of people with attitude problems. It seems that you can't go through more than a couple of threads without someone having a whinge or 'flaming' someones post. Most of the time they haven't even got anything to whine about - i.e. Joe Bloggs posts something that was posted some time in the last month, so John Smith suddenly has a pop about it (probably just to increase his post count but make it seem like he's making a contribution).
The worst forums i've come across for this are numerous 'Guild Wars' forums and ps3forums.com. I know some people like to use the internet as a shield from where they can hurl abuse and act 'hard' but sometimes i'm shocked by what some of the idiots come out with.

Does anyone else find this on their cyber travels?

    Fesity part II is born!

Lets talk about... the Slow Loris! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_loris

Look at its little monkey face! I bet its not slow, but I bet it is a Loris!

*Pretends to be a Slow Loris*

EDIT - Better say something on topic: I find HEXUS, if anything is too far the other way. You can't challenge what people say, or discuss anything, because people moan if you do! Thread about Top 10 Games in the Gaming forums, someone comes in and says Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 is crap, I retort, like a big retorting thing, and instead of a counter retort, they just moan and say 'help! help! I'm being repressed! Someone disagrees with me!'

Right bunch of Slow Lorisises they are.

OP - The last person to mention this, without knowing it, started this thread - http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=107164, which, with the possible exception of Matt Ds ego, is the biggest thing HEXUS has ever seen the likes of.

Harmony Central still reigns supreme for being populated by semi retarded flame bandits in my opinion.

If you think geeks can have an attitude problem from time to time then you need to see what happens when every bedroom lead guitarist in America gets their grubby mitt's on an internet connection

whilst i do find the constant flamer forums and threads of trashing eachother, its an innevitability in todays net society. Its just a question of ignoring it and moving on..

The thing that bugs me about forums, is the fact that any one can post on pretty much any forum on pretty much any topic. Whilst this is great from a freedom of speech type situation, from an accuracy point of view, its a flipping nightmare. Sometimes can take a fair amount of common sense (something numerous people lack) to realise advice given might be incorrect.
