    Welcome to 2007

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2007 when...
    1. You accidentally enter your PIN on the microwave.
    2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years
    3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.
    4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
    5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
    6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your mobile phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
    7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.
    8. Leaving the house without your mobile phone, which you didn't even have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
    10. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.
    11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )
    12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
    13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.
    14. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.
    15. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list.
AND NOW U R LAUGHING at yourself.

If anything, that seems a little outdated already.

"email addresses" in #5 should be replaced with facebook!

You GraveYard shift guys! Some of us are new, not necessarily to life but to this forum and so have yet to become as jaded as some veterans would appear to be. Liked it, Kickstart 1. Pleasant way to begin a Sunday. More please. And ... thankyou.

Perhaps more worryingly is the trend for people to actually SAY lol

    Instead of laughing

Still it's all part of the "modern" world. Long live the Tech Republic!

You can be like me (like i WAS)... use the search button to go to the depths of hexus and find the 'ye olde' threads. Like, from the last coupla years

Anyway, 'tis worrying when it is all true

Wait, so you've got to do research on every thread that has ever been on hexus before commenting?

No, but normally a good idea is to search for things like this first. Saves the 'oh this is stuff that's been posted before blah blah, search first blah blah' comments. like what i've said

I used to post loads of random threads just like this, and get loads of replie in them saying stuff like that, so now, i make threads on new happenings, and post in any threads i think of something witty to say about it. (unless its serious)

Classics like this are always worth a 2nd or 3rd read anyway, regardless of it being posted before
