where did you get a £1000 a week from??
where did you get a £1000 a week from??
My booking for ibiza in september for a week is 166 quid, nothing fancy, bed + ashtray and to my suprise - aircon!!! but I wont be spending much time in the hotel.
The roadtrip round Europe sounds like a damn good laugh and I bet it's fairly cheap as well.
All I'd need is my mate with his pug 407 mobile sofa which runs on diesel, a tent and clothes.
Europe road trip. Can't beat it. It's not that cheap but you will have the time of your life. Since I was 17, me and 3 guys have done each summer.
One word, two numbers:
Club 18-30
Sounds just like what you're looking for:
Birds, Booze and Clubs.

1 problem with using club 18-30, we are all going to be 17!
We are thinkin about booking the flights seperate from the Hotel though...instead of booking a package holiday as it seems to be cheaper!
smart move or not you reckon???
Laganas is good for what you're after but the accomodation can vary a lot. Make sure you check out wherever you're staying.
We stayed in Kalamaki once, which is a bit down the beach from Laganas.
Looking at Google Maps Kalamaki is at the bottom of the runway (the stripe) and Laganas is the more built-up bit along the coast to the West.
Things to do if you're ever sober and awake outside of night-time:
- Go to Zakynthos Town
- Go see the famous shipwreck (by boat or from the cliffs waay above)
- Go and try Ladotyri (aka "Oil Cheese"), it's like something between Feta and Parmesan
- Go find a random farmer in the hills that doesn't speak English and get him to try and say "Onion" or "Cucumber"

A few more things to do in Zakynthos:
-If it's still there, eat at Big Boys fast food restaurant. There used to be one in Laganas, Zakynthos town and somewhere out in the middle of nowhere next to a nightclub I forget the name of.
-Eat at Trenta Nova in Tsilivi.
-Go to Marathonisi.
-Keri beach tends to have nicest/cleanest sea, but the beach is quite pebbly.
Gah... I'd found my Godmother's bakery/cafe on Google Maps, but I lost it!

Most of the fun in Ibiza comes from the places that are precisely not like that
Its ok do that as a one off, but there is SO much on the island. I've spent over a month on there, with transport and keep going back for more. There is just so much to do
Ibiza is actually very cheap if you don't wait till next year - look into it mate
There are tons of websites that have better deals than the high-street. One of my best mates went this year for £220 for 2 weeks
17!!!! In which case you don't want to pick anywhere where they're hot on checking ID's.
Forgot to say to keep an eye out for last minute bargains too, but that might be tricky if there's a whole bunch of you. As well as the internet there's dear old Teletext too for cheapo last min holidays.
My first experience (at 15) of Zakynthos involved the following conversation with a waiter:
Me: "How old do you have to be to drink here?"
Waiter: "Um, I don't know... we usually start around 15 I think"
Me: "Can I have a beer?"
Waiter: "Yes of course, what would you like?"
That was 10 years ago though, so no saying what they're like now!

yeah i have a fake ID anyway because im hard like that...hmmmmm!
Anyways i wudnt be suprised if they served 11 year olds now-a-days so i think we are pretty safe on that matter =]
