Voice Controlling Windows?

Does anyone know of software (preferably free) that would allow a Windows XP machine to be contolled by voice? I am looking for something that will allow control of things like winamp and general movement around the OS.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Don't know about Winamp & the OS but the (free) Opera browser is voice controllable.

Yeah I was told that, it might be useful but what I really want is to be able to tell my machine to open winamp, play/change etc a song. It is for the machine that is in the living room plugged into a projector, saves using a mouse/keyboard all the time so will be neater.

When I was learning to write code I used to dream that I was running around DO loops and so on.

However, you could try Realize Voice I played with an earlier version which was pretty cool. I can't use it at work or home as I would annoy people, but apart from that it's pretty good.

I am not sure if it would work with Winamp, as the search functionality is a bit weird, but there is a 30-day trial, as I recall.

Wiimote is just another remote, I am trying to do away with hardware, already have a wireless keyboard and mouse for it. The idea is that the room will be a bit tidier as there won't be gadgets lying around all over the place.

Not lazy! Just trying to keep the living room habitable! We already have 7 remotes without having to have a keyboard and mouse sitting around!!

I have a good Sony mutli-remote thing that controls Sky, TV, DVD, VCR and Hi-Fi. Why not get one and put 5 of your remotes in a drawer somewhere?

I need to really but the only one I can use is the Cambridge Audio one as I have a Cambridge Audio CD player and DVD player and they don't release their codes to anyone. I have tried learning remotes and they don't work either.
