    Why doesnt skype let you select an install location?

    Just one small gripe,
    Why the hell does it not allow you to select an installation location? Is that not the very FIRST thing an installation for a program should have?

    I know a lot of people don't care where their programs install to, but I do.

    Just wanted to know what you guys think about it?
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    apparently:

    1. Uninstall previous versions of Skype.
    2. Download the setup file (I then moved the downloaded SkypeSetup.exe file to the DrogramFiles directory before running it, but I don't know if that was necessary)
    3. Run the setup file, but CAREFUL: at the very first step, there is a little gray box at the bottom left that says "options" (they don't make this easy, do they?)
    4. Change the location of where you want it installed
    5. Complete the installation

    Skype is made by the same people as Kazaa. You know, that P2P software that basically started the whole spyware/adware craze.

    They may have cleaned up their act, but don't think that they're any more sympathetic towards the needs of users.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Yeh, there should be an advanced feature to it, but it's a nifty tool and they try and make it as user friendly as possible hence the lack of configuration for the install.
