Its just a bad thing for the forums really tho. I admit that i have spammed but i have also posted some informative and or useful information as well. Also i have been making a special effort of late to at least try and help people with there hardware probs

as i keep saying, postcounts should not be shown. Once someone reaches 500 posts or however many for an avatar, they can be emailed and told this, but as it is, people are just going to build their postcounts up to compare with others to try to hit landmarks.

Indeed its already begun. XTR and Caged have a fair few posts cos they are sorting things out. Some people have taken this oppurtunity to try and 'beat the mods' for some reason shameful tbh

indeed, however, some of the people with high post counts have been playing the word game, and if the rules are the same as they were before, where the game is deleted after 7 days and people loose however many posts they made, from theiir postcount, then they should be back down to just about level with the rest of us....

Having read some of jiffs comment in another thread i think that (if its possible) general discussion should be purged maybe monthly as theres only ever spam in here anyway. Even when elmo did her mugshot thread loads of us were spamming in that as well. Something will be done tho cos the spamming at the moment is just depressing
