Hi all,
Im currently doing a summer palcement for a Quantity surveying company untill end of September. I was working at waitrose whilst at uni for the apst 2 years. I still have a couple more years at uni to go and really dont fancy going bk to retail in general.

What im asking is:

- Are there any jobs I can do working from home (anything)
- Are there any jobs apart from retail and phone sales i can do part time
- Looking tio make about 300 a month min really

working from home in your position is not going to happen.

I'm afraid part time jobs are basiclly what you can get in your position, you could do office admin, recpeption, the jobs you've listed.

OR - if you have the capabilities, you could offer services typing up/proof-reading other peoples work at uni, thats working from home.

lol. But on a snadge more serious note, is there anything out the ordinary i could do? I have been toying with poker but i know my gf hates it, although i can make a reasonable amount from it a month.

If you have a little seed money eBaying can be lucrative. You need something you can buy low and sell high. I know a woman who buys fake handbags and sells them on eBay. She is honest about the product (though it's all in hints, as eBay don't like you saying "Fake Hermes Kelly") and buys the bags to order. She found a wholesaler (via Google) and negotiated prices, then sold a number of bags from that wholesaler (with a reserve to eliminate loss), then ordered the bags from the wholesaler and forwarded them to the buyers.

She actually bought a couple of bags first to ascertain the quality, which is where the seed money comes in, and then sold them.

The money isn't bad. People pay 300+ quid for a decent copy, and the wholesale price can be as low as 150 quid. The margin covers postage and time.

Obviously not everyone knows about handbags, but there may be something you do know that would work. Watches, jewellery, technology, clothes, etc. Anything that commands a premium is probably available cheaper or faked somewhere.

If you play it, maybe not, but I am friends with people who make a steady income. Its possible and can be done if taken seriously. I can make about £50-70 a day within about 3/4 hours. Unfortunatly with uni and seeing my gf she wont be best pleased if im sitting there starring at a poker table But I do appreciate your view.

Yeh, not into the whole ebay thing really, always had a bad experience with it, so tended to avoid. Male ascort would be awesome, but again, i think it may be something my gf would frown upon.

Looks like its going to turn out to be something regular then.

If so then you can do that from home, through rent-a-coder.com or similar...if your good at web or graphic design in particular then I might even have some work for you...
