    Crazy Poker.

Was playing online poker last night, no limit Hold Em, only a $1\$2 table, with $20 in my stack, 5 players.

After about 10 minutes of nothing much happening:

I get pocket Queens, go all in, get called by 1 other player, he also has pocket Queens, split pot.

    Next hand everyone folds pre-flop.

Next hand I get pocket Kings, go all in, again 1 player calls, he also has pocket Kings, I double up as I had the King of Spades, and the flop was spade, spade, spade, with the Ace of Spades on the river for a nut flush.

Next hand I get pocket Queens again, all in, 1 caller, the same person who just had his Kings cracked by my miracle flush, and is now on tilt, he's got Ace-Queen, my Queens hold for another double up.

Next hand I got a pair of 5s, was last to act, and there was a raise and reraise, so I folded and left the table. Didn't want to push my luck.

Only made about $60ish, but crazy cards! 3 big pocket pairs in 4 hands, twice up against the same pocket pair.

Anyone else got any bad beat \ crazy card stories worth telling?

I ended up playing a game where me and another player got the same hands four times in a row, spent about ages working out the odds...

    Re: Crazy Poker.

Reminds me of playing a 5 card stud game round a friends house a few years ago. (I prefer texas hold 'em). I ended up with something like 4 tens and thought thankyou very much now lets just play this steady and hope someone else has got a good hand and will bite. Yep I've got one hear, it escalates, he goes all in, I go all in and with a big grin on my face show my hand. He had 4 queens. The look on my face was apparantly a classic. Thank god we weren't playing for higher stakes.

Ahhh the flush hitting is just annoying!

I've got plenty stories of bad beats and nice wins, but one of recent was a mate who plays 5/10 NL, he had Aces UTG and raised to 50, hoping for a trap (he has a tight table image). A random guy who's just joined the table raises to 300. My mate calls as he thinks if he pushes all in for 1000 the other guy will fold. Flop comes 789 rainbow, guy goes all in, mate calls, and the guy shows 56. Sick!

    Re: Crazy Poker.

Yeah I saw that hand on TV. Jesse May points out that the Kings probably shouldn't have folded even if he thought it was Aces, as there's so much in the pot and it's a very tight call. If it was a cash game I'm sure they would have all pushed. I don't think many folk would have folded the Kings!

    Re: Crazy Poker.

I drew a pair of kings and had an ace in the hole but then a queen shouted '789 rainbow' before I could shout 'snap' and jack off, so I had to flush my trump.

    Re: Crazy Poker.

Those kings would never have got folded by me, and i play aloooooot of poker, live and online. Chances of him having the aces over KA AQ JJ 10 10 were very slim, so woulda gone all in, even if he did theres always options. straight nearly came, trips,..
