    City-Link are...

    ..quite useless really

Twice they've tried to deliver my order from Ebuyer. Twice I've been at work. Twice they haven't left a card. In fact the only reason I know they've had delivery attempts is from the online order tracking service (which is actually quite good!).

They did get another package to me at work today though, so credit to them for finding the office

    Ho hum..

They seem quite spasmodic in relation to which area they deliver in... the city-link guy I had for around 6 months was absolutely cracking. Seriously friendly guy, always on time, same time every delivery. If I missed a delivery by say an hour, I'd ring the depot, they'd patch me through to him, and he'd come back as soon as he could.

Nothing bad to say about city-link, to be honest. My courier of choice

I too used to have regular dealings with them at a job I once had, and they were very nearly always on time and very reliable.

I also had a new phone delivered by them a few months ago. Couldn't complain.

It's a shame how many people seem to have 1 or 2 bad experiences with a certain company/product and forever brand them/it as a bad/useless.

City-Link are tops here as well... No probs leaving parcels if I am not in using an agreed "hidden" place (living in stix has its perks) and never had a prob with them.

I find city link alright, and any probs i have are outweighed by the fact that my local depot is right round the corner from my house, barely a 2 minute walk away, which is nice

ebuyer are great in most respects (if you're patient like me...)
    city link are not.
twice, once about six months ago, and last tuesday i was expecting something. city link just missed my dad so they left a "if you'll be in tomorrow - don't bother calling" message. dad was in all day yesterday and nothing turned up.

don't try to get through to city link either, they don't answer their phone in my area...

when ebuyer use royal mail (they do for small items on normal delivery, but not next day) they're brilliant. with city link it's chance. i've asked ebuyer about setting a preference of using royal mail only for my account, but they can't do such a thing.

shall be firing off another bout of complaining enotes.
