So i went through manchester, and all i lost was my usb stick player.
I know there are some parts of the world that are less affluant than others but...
Northan people scare me.
Its that simple, i don't know why, it might be my socail eneptitude, but i honestly can't tell if there about to mug me or hug me.
Over the weekend i made a few friends i supose, but also lost my NW-E005.
And all i can say is in retrospect i know exactly how it slipped out of my inside jacket pocket.
This annoys me, i've been all around the europian cities whilst drunk, but never had anything stolen, manchester piccadilly... oh well.

I'll be up in that neck of the woods later in the year for uni after spending 18 years in solitary confinement (cornwall).

Dont see what the problem is with manchester tbh. Northerners are friendlier than southerners from my experience anyway.

Its the reputation I think. Its just like most places, there are the murky areas and the nice areas.

I agree, having lived in Manchester and Liverpool, both are much more friendly than anything I've experienced down south (especially London).

They are freindly just cant stand the lack of money, and the accent does my head in like no other.
Basically il never move north of london.
And I dont think southern people are more rude tbh.. But then again i wouldnt talk to some random down here the same as i wouldnt up there..

The North is definitely more friendly than the affluent South-East, but the South-Westers are a very friendly bunch I find. And very little is easier than a Plymouth girl.
