    Moisturiser question

Having got myself up and dressed after last nights merriment I found a tube of Olay 'Touch of Sunshine' moisturiser in the bathroom. Decided to give myself the promised 'sun-kissed' look, and applied.

My eyes won't stop watering now and really sting.

Anyone else tried this stuff? It is evil and whoever left it in my bathroom can take it away again pronto

I have... not by choice though. Never get drunk at a friends house who's missus has every skincream like this under the sun and pass out on their settee after having a beer too many.

I didn't feel any burning for the first day or so, but I noticed that the 'bridge' on my face was itchier than normal from days 3-5.

I also went from Pasty White to a subtle sun-kissed look which wasn't too bad

but no, I wouldn't use it again and have asked them nicely not to use it again on me if I pass out lol

Is this the new tanning sensation, giving yourself chemical burns?

Sure you're not allergic to Lanolin, quite a lot of people are? Oil of Olay is loaded with the stuff (So is E45)

Violence and Lubrication is the solution to fixing everything, if it still doesn't work, you need more lubrication.

You need to be exposed to sunshine to flake up.

My trusty Clinique stash has restored my skin to it's former pale but moisturised state. This Olay stuff dried my skin and felt horrid.

    Re: Moisturiser question

My girl brings me lots of Clarins samples from the pharmacy. It's ludicrously expensive to buy and it doesn't make much of a noticeable difference over e45.

I really do feel sorry for women who waste hundreds of pounds on expensive moisturisers and anti-aging rubbish. It seems to become an obsession that is re-enforced by insecurities created by advertising and those pathetic women's magazines etc etc.

That Gok Wan program (my girlfriend makes me watch it, honest!) just shows how much horse ****e these expensive products really are with the placebo tests.

    My tip of the day:

Buy some self tan, plus some beer.
    Drink beer till drunk.
    Apply self tan.
Have g/f laugh at your new streaky tanned look.
