They're all a scam, not much has changed in the past 5 years, except the price.

    Re: Gillette Stealth Razor

I used to really like the original Wilkinson Sword Protector - this has now evolved into the Protector 3D Diamond. It costs twice the price and clogs too easily. I probably ought to change my razor - have thought about a cut throat, but I'm really clumsy so perhaps not a good idea.

I use some sort of gilette razor, I forget which, it seems to work so I've not bothered changing it.

    Re: Gillette Stealth Razor

My first razor was a Gillette Sensor Excel. They've more than doubled the number of blades since then
I wonder what is the difference between the the guys range and the Venus range.

    Tesco 3-blade razor FTW!

Mach 3-alike at less than 1/2 the price - shaves just as well and the blades seem to last longer too!

I've been thinking about getting a cut throat razor as well but it takes a lot of practice and I don't particularly want to go in to work with cuts all over my face. For the time being I'm going to stick with my cheap disposables. All these fancy razors are a waste of money.

    Re: Gillette Stealth Razor

I use one of those orange Gillette things at home. It does seem to do a better job than the Mach 3 did. I still use it when i'm traveling because it is smaller and i still have blades for it.

I bought some blades in the US, should have really stocked up, i never realised until i got home how much cheaper they were.

I use one just like this, best shave ever and looks great, initial price is alot for a decent silver one, then just get the blades very cheap

    Re: Gillette Stealth Razor

What do people use for cream/gel?

I use Taylors of Old Bond Street cream, very good. Gives me a better shave than the big brands.

http://www.tayloroldbondst.co.uk/aca...__CREAM_2.html Scroll down to the "SHAVING CREAM TUBE (75g)" I have both the Mr Taylors and the St James Collecton right now. You can sometimes find them in TK Max, thats where i discovered them. My mum bought one as a stocking filler years ago
