    Question Online DVD Rental Recommendations

I'm looking into possibly renting DVDs online. Could someone recommend a place where there's a monthly subscription, and a good selection of different rental packages to choose from. I was looking at a previous thread that seemed to suggest lovefilm was good, but I've heard that they've been through a merger which has made their service worse.

Is lovefilm still the place to use, or is there something better?

    Thanks .

I was going to suggest 'Lovefilm' but that was before I read the last bit of your post. Seen them advertising a lot just now.

Lovefilm is pretty good but they rarely ever sent me my top picks. They sent me a 3 months trial voucher the other day which I can't use because I've been a customer in the past. If you want the code PM me and I'll send it across.

i use easycinema.com which is now using Lovefilm as the base. Difference is that not monthly premium but per film. Works out almost same cost - yes, i know you asked for a premium version, but thought I'd throw this into the mix

    Re: Online DVD Rental Recommendations

From what I have seen most of the online DVD rental places are using LoveFilm behind the scenes. I did a try with LoveFilm and it was OK, but I then decided I might as well just stick to my Sky Movies.

    Re: Online DVD Rental Recommendations

I use Lovefilm and I haven't had any real problems with them. As long as you keep your rental list updated and prioritise the dvd's you want sensibly you should be OK with them.

    Re: Online DVD Rental Recommendations

I've just started using Tesco, mostly because they were offering an extra 1000 clubcard points, which never go amiss.

Thus far, selections been quite good and I'm busy going through various TV series that I missed the first time (like B5 and Battlestar Galatica)

You can do, I received 2 vouchers as well and it specificaly said for me and a friend. They were black in colour and you had to put a stick label from a choice of about 8. Mind you better to reduce their prices and I might come back
