    I'm guessing it's because the images are "stitched" together, and where they are stitched there has to be some blending between the images - so rather than the legs being cut off all of a sudden they fade out and have an almost ghostly quality.

    Its pretty cool though, and it's not often I'd say that about a MS product. I bet it would look even better on our VR theartre we have here at work - have to try it out later.
