QI - (cheeky edit to get the title in caps)

Is the bestest thing ever, what you reckon?

Its edutainment at its finest. Stephen Fry knows everything (cept about ladies parts), the guests are usually funny and well known (Richard E Grant, Bill Bailey, Vic Reeves, Alan Davies, Phil Jupitus, etc), and its always very funny.

Been watching a lot of eps recently on DVD, and catch it on TV on BBC4... always class.

    QI FTW.

    What says you?

EDIT - Also, why wont the forums let me call the thread 'QI'? Keeps changing it to 'Qi' Like whats its problem guy? Is it gay or summat? Don't touch me you gay forum.

Zak, I've often wondered why exactly you are an Admin... if you can't even type a thread title in all capitals, thats the last possible reason gone.

^I'm seeing Bill Bailey next month too! Fantastic.

I love QI but find Alan Davies deeply annoying (usually talking over Stephen Fry with some inanity when the Fryster is trying to impart something interesting!)

    Re: Qi

    Favourite QI moments:

Jo Brand wetting herself while Julian Clary described having an accident while meeting the Queen.
Ronni Ancona's amazing tale of exploration.
Sean Lock: [Stephen has mentioned his prep school tailors] You had a tailor? For a suit you had made up when you were five?
Stephen Fry: It was a particular outfitter. The school outfitter.
Sean Lock: "Which side does young sir dress on?"
Alan Davies: That's written on the bathroom wall!
Stephen Fry: Oh heavens, why did I bring it up?
Sean Lock: Did you have to get measured up for shorts?
    Stephen Fry: Oh, Lord.
Bill Bailey: "Would sir like to wear a cravat on the cross-country run?"
Stephen Fry: You are all such beasts.
Sean Lock: "I suggest a cummerbund for geography."

    Re: Qi

QI is a decent show. I thoroughly dislike Alan Davies - dont find him funny at all, hes kind of the one they feel sorry for for being a chump.

But the rest of the show rocks, apart from i only seem to see it on uk tv g2 or something, and always has the same ones one.

I met Stephen Fry and Rowan Atkinson of all people through some work we were doing with the aid of John Lloyd. Was quite impressive!

    Re: Qi

QI is fantastic, not so sure about Mock the Week though - it's not nearly as good as Merton and Hislop.
