    Re: Dyslexic

I'd get a test done, but it sounds like a hand/eye issue rather than Dyslexia.

    Re: Dyslexic

    I have the other problem...

My hands are too fast for my brain... they type things that are completely different to what my brain is saying. (More times than not I'll keep what my hands said and ditch what I was thinking... that scares me!)

Sounds more like a muscle memory problem TBH. I get that with some keys aswell. Especially when using a new keyboard

    Re: Dyslexic

I'm dyslexic, with numbers, didn't actually find out till I was 21 that I was, I got fired from a job because of it too, I should hve taken that further but never bothered.

So long as I pay attention to what I'm doing I don't generally make a mistake, if I rush it then thats when I cause problems.

I didn't get diagnosed as such I just found that I had it. I think I've been like it ever since I was a kid, I hate being like it because if I get really stressed I just can't see number straight, I get confused and thats when I make misstakes, although that said I haven't really had much trouble with it lately.

Then I was always the thick one at school, now I know why (not that I'm any more intelligent now to be honest with you)

    Re: Dyslexic

Anyone who has chatted to me on MSN will definately know that I have a problem with keeping up with what my hands are typing compared to whats going on in my head.

I've found slowing down a little and stopping doing 6 things at once is a bonus but I still get messages going " huh?, ,eh?, wtf you on about " from various people all the time.

I think I'll just start using me microphone so they can listen to my lovely vocal tones and accent instead.

is it an illness i.e medically proven that ur born like it

or is it just not bothering to learn when you were young and not learning the basics like numbers and words.??

It's a learning difficulty more so than someone being lazy.
