Need a little bit of personal shopping.
I want/need a 'Man Bag'.
Must be able to hold a Samsung Q1 Ultra, a pad of A4 (squared rather than lined) and a book.
Now I'm not longer wearing a suite to work, a breifcase would look to pretentious, so i need a manbag type thing. Anyone know a good place to get one? Anywhere round knightsbridge/victoria would be good.
Someone here must have some kind of fassion sense!

Does the squaring make a difference to the size it takes up in a bag? :p

I prefer my mansack ... I mean rucksack!
Anyway, why do they call they "man bags" - surely they're just satchels?

rhyms with runts.
I think madduck might be on the right lines, a quick google shows the type of thing i'm after. Need something thats 'smart casual' ie leather or similar. Budget say ~200 if its well made. Any HELPFUL suggestions?
Re: Need a little bit of personal shopping.
Hide design make some really nice ones. They usually have a good range in somewhere like John Lewis. I have one for work and it carries all my stuff inc work lappy, pad, ipod etc without any problems.
Or perhaps I meant debenhams.

In fact I even found their website.

I've even started mousterising after i shave. Don't get more manly than that, the shaver is even coloured a re-assuring manly black.

Re: Need a little bit of personal shopping.
Went looking for man-bags with a friend last week who is starting self-employment. We found some nice ones in Reiss.

I've had a jack spade bag for a couple of years, really nicely made. I think they can be found in Selfridges. Personally I think the small ones they sell look too much of a "man-bag", but they have quite a few other sizes that aren't on their website which might be better suited.

The problem here is that anyone with any fashion sense will say 'don't get a man bag', so really you are looking for someone with no fashion sense.
Perhaps someone from Burnley?
Re: Need a little bit of personal shopping.
A colleague used to have a very nice brown leather Diesel bag which would do the trick - essentially a messenger bag. Didn't look like a handbag at all.
