No, but I was woken by a screaming howling gale around 5:15 this morning which sounded really bad so God alone knows how bad it was for those poor souls affected by the real thing...

By 8 it was clear and sunny again.

Was it a real tornado or one of those pretend ones that will get us laughed at?

Down south it rained and ruined my hair!

Off topic but a pigeon got run over about 1 meter in fount of me as well, the odd thing was that the car ran it over with its right side fount wheel like in the middle of the tire and it didn't spurt guts everywhere just herd its bones crack , and there it was left in the middle of the road sitting in a freaky up-right position.

Had a tree go down in the garden, and saw another on the side of the road.

    Bit windy isn't it?

Not where I was, it was quite calm, but did anyone get affected by the mini-tornadoes today?

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7010172.stm

Terry Parrott, who lives in Farnborough, said he looked out of his window to see a "complete whirling mass".

He added: "Caravans have been upside down, trees uprooted, bus shelters destroyed. It's just complete devastation."

He's not lying. This is the pic of the caravan upside down (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/7010266.stm)

    Re: Bit windy isn't it?

I was out just after 5 this morning, almost went on my ass, half asleep, wandered out the gate to suddenly be moved 5 foot left, woke me up at least

Glad no-one was about to see it, must of looked a right plonker.
