The head of the Catholic Church in Mozambique has told the BBC he believes some European-made condoms are infected with HIV deliberately.
Maputo Archbishop Francisco Chimoio claimed some anti-retroviral drugs were also infected "in order to finish quickly the African people".

Is this guy clinically insane? Taking irresponsibility to whole new levels.

There used to be a pretty good anti-AIDS campaign paid for by the USA, but since Bush got in it has been subverted into an abstinence campaign, leading to an incredible rise in AIDS again. I don't think so - this guy was saying that western condoms are the problem. The article above shows problems with south african ones.

What have my own views got to do with it? The mozambique guy is the one telling people to avoid specifically western condoms, while the article claiming defects is talking about african condoms.
