Ack, I'm really struggling at work now, only been here an hour! Eyes are closing, colours are going funny and I'm feeling dizzy...
I had a can of something like Red Bull which doesn't seem to have helped at all! :(
Need more tea (don't drink coffee).
right
goto the toilet on a break have a 15 min powernap.
Tips for Great Kips
It makes me laugh that seemingly because famous people, mainly politicians, doze off during debates/speeches that the media and some doctors have come up with a catchphrase for it. I call it boredom induced tiredness but it seems it should now be called 'Power-napping'
For the perfect 'power-nap' use these handy hints from Professor Chris Idzikowski, chairman of the Royal Society of Medcine's Sleep Forum.
Power-naps should be kept short to prevent you feeling too groggy when you wake up.
The exact amount of time spent napping will depend on the individual, but most people will find that 15 - 20 minutes is enough.
Ideally, don't do anything important for 20 minutes after waking to prevent 'sleep inertia' (poor performance after sleep).
Drinking coffee before a 20-minute nap may actually help. It takes the coffee that long to work through to the bloodstream and you should wake up feeling alert.
If at first you find it hard to nap, don't worry. The most important thing is relaxing and being quiet.
Don't nap if you have problems sleeping at night. But if you need to take afternoon naps to compensate, try changing your bedtime habits and have more early nights.
If there's nowhere at work to sleep, use your car. Some people have even snoozed in toilet cubicles.

Power-napping? LOL! I'd fall asleep for the rest of the day! :o
I'll give it a try at during my lunch hour, and remember to set my phone alarm! :D
Cheers!
Up until your lunch break try to sit near an open window it'll be cold but it'll help keep you awake, also put bright lights on, drink plenty of caffeine and keep your brain active.
We have no windows - air conditioning... (which sucks) :(
We have no adjustable lights - just on and off switches. They're all on.
I don't drink coffee - will tea do?
And lastly, I work in accounts - my brain is never not active! ;)
i had one of these at college this morning :P. my tutor seems to leave me alone on a monday morning, she's understanding, hehe. shame she gets the others to wake me up in the way they seem best, normally whackin me round the head with a newspaper, haha.
peace
LOL, I've perked up a bit now... lets see how long this lasts! :D
We're sorry, but we can't supply the file you requested.:\

It tastes disgusting but it'll do the job.Quote:
