I'm assuming it's the same vodka hard drive, although it's been so long, I may have just moved the window from one hd (The vodka one) to another hard drive? dunno :/

ah no, sorry it's not the same hard drive, the vodka hd was 365mb, whereas the one i found in my draw is 1.6gb - so i must have moved the window to the 1.6gb drive... soz for the confusion

It will probably work to about 30% of its capability "moaning" every now and again about how its read-heads are sore till about lunch-time

Nice work - Next I suggest a washing-up liquid test or even extreme cooling using a CO2 fire extinguisher or 2

I reckon we should get a blowtorch on one too ( or has someone already suggested a blowtorch? )

I've tried blowtorching the platters. Nothing happens. You can just wipe off the soot

I've also tried hitting hard drives with a hammer, then trying to boot from them. Windows stopped half way through
