It just makes you wonder about the levels of stupidity people seem capable of reaching......and every time I hear something like this, the bar gets set higher and higher.....

The way I see it is that society is just too safe a place for idiots these days. In a more aggressive environment, back when you had to kill animals for food, these fools would have been the first to be eviscerated by the local neighbourhood saber toothed tiger, but now they just get a couple of nights in jail, and are then released back into society to breed with other equally as stupid individuals.
