King of Moths

Last night while I was geekin away I had a moth the size of a small aircraft banging into my light shade. It was huge. got my web cam ready but it had dissappeared. When I was tidying my room this morning I found it and got a couple of shots. Theyre a bit blury but You can tell how big it is. Here they are.

I usually hate moths but this one was pretty cool.

That's a pretty big mumma moth. Shes prolly preggy so chuck her out the window before u get loads of babies.

When I was on a camping holiday in Bournemouth I went to the shower rooms, and saw a moth about 5 inches accross, and about 7 inches long. I wanted to scream like a big girl, the thing was the size of my hand for christs sake. I decided to use a different cubical...

i did scream like a big girl when I saw it followed by "holy crap that is a big mother ******." I hate swearin but when u bump into summit like that it kinda makes you.

I would have been reaching for a hammer to irradicate that one :)

youve been down the zoo or somewhere to get something that size surely if my mrs seen something that size flying around the house she would be straight out and not come back in mmmm mmm strange ideas are now beginning to creep in to my head lol

And, it dont look like a moth to me either, none (that Ive seen, and thats a freaking lot lately) have got double wings!

Maybe a google should help on what it really is.
