For guys who like sol, try corrona, with a bit of lime, yum.
Would also like to say - do you not think it's largers that are gassey, not beers - bitter (technically beer) is much less gassey...?

true but theres nout wrong with a bit of gasdo you not think it's largers that are gassey, not beers - bitter (technically beer) is much less gassey
I'm not saying that there is anything worng with gas, however I do feel it a little unfair on the real beers out there to be put in the same catagory as largers and be called gassey to, when they aren't, so much... erm... gassey.
there's nothing better than drinking a nice cold beer on a hot day
and then doing a huge burp after
fantastic
beer heals all....i got me an ice-cold stella now, consoling myself as i've failed my computing exam earlier miserably. can't beat a good bottle of Wife Beater

My favourites are:

Budvar
Grolsch
Tsing Tao
Guinness (not the extra cold - doesnt taste right)
Castle
HoeGaarden
Of all the American Beers, I think Miller is my favourite... why I hear you ask? why because its cheap, and its just about palatable. Oh yea, the big list isnt in any order (except pride at the top ), and its big cause I think they all have their merits
Edit: Oooh - I forgot Deuchars, thats a quality ale.
Also Belgian Stella is really good, I think it is partially to do with the water being different, but mainly because the Stella over here is made bompletely differently... It is brewed too fast using too much processed grain, which means that the yeast acts upon it quickly (as it is v easy to break down into sugars), so that the huge demand for the beer can be met by churning out loads of the stuff.... but therefore it tastes like carp.

I have heard that there are two different grades of Stella, but does anyone know if this is actually true? I am not sure, but the huge variance in taste between pints of Stella from different bars makes me wonder. Also it seems to me that Stella out of the cans with golden tops, and embossed sides, tastes better than Stella from the silver top, flat sided cans. However, this could just be the physiological effect of packaging. I used to drink Stella a lot, in fact, far too often, which is why I do not like it anymore.
