    Rustic. yes, simple, yes.

This is a great show. The aim of it is good, the results are interesting and Gordon as a front makes it interesting. Its clear his passion is genuine.

Shame they're all repeats though ... was hoping for a new series.
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

they do one "revisit" each year, and to be honet, without the background the re-visit wouldn't make sense. Its nice to see how they are doing post visit.

    Re: Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

It's filler TV though, really. 30 mins of highlights from the original is all that's needed really,a nd then give us an update.

But then that won't fill an hour's worth of telly, will it?

And even if it is an original show, how many bloody times are they going to repeat what they're doing... do we forget during the ad breaks?

Yes, Gordon, I KNOW you're at the damn Fenwick Arms telling some numpty that he's losing money hand over fist... you told me at the start of the show, again five minutes later, then again after the first set of adverts, and again as you went into the kitchen and then again as you walked around the streets stuffing people with gravy and again and again and again! ARRRRGHHH!

But Kitchen Nightmares isn't the only culprit... every show does it. Property Ladder is another one, Grand Designs is another.

It's all about filling time. Kitchen Nightmares isn't the only culprit... every show does it. Property Ladder is another one, Grand Designs is another.

I can maybe see that people joining the show halfway through might need a quick update but come on, how bloody often? But Kitchen Nightmares isn't the only culprit... every show does it. Property Ladder is another one, Grand Designs is another.

It's as if TV producers think we've a memory span of a goldfish. But Kitchen Nightmares isn't the only culprit... every show does it. Property Ladder is another one, Grand Designs is another.

And it's not just Channel 4, the Beeb do it with Rogue Traders, a show with no adverts. But Kitchen Nightmares isn't the only culprit... every show does it. Property Ladder is another one, Grand Designs is another.

(btw, did you see what I did there?)

Well obviously they do as I doubt this thread would have had a response from people stating that they watch it. Thanks for the well thought out constructive post.

I actually thought they had somehow made a mistake and were showing the first
campaign for real gravy episode again.

    Re: Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

Oh right, I never knew it was a repeat, I never saw that one before. What about the one with the Scotish bird and her veggie resurant in Paris? Was that a repeat?

I KNOW MORE ABOUT FOOD THAN YOU DO BECAUSE I AM GORDON RAMSAY AND I AM FAMOUS, YES? YOU ARE NOT GORDON RAMSAY, YES? I AM, YES? I WILL SAY **** ME EVERYTIME YOU MAKE A CHOICE OR COMMENT ABOUT ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH FOOD, YES? I WILL SAY YOU NEED A KICK UP THE ARSE IF YOU THINK SERVING DUCK IN JULY IS A GOOD IDEA, YES? YES? I AM FOOD, YES? BIG BOY? YES? FOOD? BIG BOY? YES? I RUN MARATHONS SOMETIMES AND YOU DON'T BECAUSE I'M BETTER THAN YOU, YES? I'LL EVEN SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT YOUR WIFE IF I WANT TO AND I'LL SWEAR IN PUBLIC, BECAUSE I CAN, YES?

I saw the fenwick arms episode tho, and i actually thought it was a bit out of order really.
    - I know thats what he does and all, but standing there yelling at the that guy he took it a little too far, he was old enough to be his ruddy dad, and if he speaks to him like that then f-me sideways.

    Re: Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

I love anything with Gordon Ramsay in it, he's fantastic! as for the way he speaks to People, they know what they're getting into before they go on that show and 'm sure Ramsay has saved a few businesses ( remember Mama Cherie's Soul Food Cafe? ) going under so surely it's worth a bit of tough talking to get them out of the mess they're in

He's one of the few celebrities that has my respect, he came from nothing and worked himself to the bone to get where he is, he owes his success to nobody.
