Google search daily Virus

Hi
I seem to have some sort of virus, where if I do a search in Google, it returns a list of matches as usual. If I select any of the google results I get diverted to another search engine, Search Daily or randomly some sort of 'dodgy' sites, and not taken to the selected result. I have tried cleaning my PC with a couple of anti virus type software including AVG 7.5, but to no avail. I seem to read several people have the same issue, but I cant find any concise fix to remove this problem.
Can anyone offer any ideas, as it is driving me crazy and my girlfriend now thinks I'm a perv!

also try:
avg antispyware
spyware terminator
threatfire

You need 2 tools

A Squared Free
and Avast.

If that doesn't wipe it I'd be shocked.

Could be as simple as just deleting the contents of your internet cookies folder.

Did the OP manage to fix this? I have a friends machine with the same problem and after running spybot and A squared it still seems to appear, any ideas?

I still have this problem, I have tried various bits of software..AVG, Windows defender, Kapasky etc. but nothing seems to fix it. I cant believe it takes many different pieces of software to remove a virus(?) that has been around for so long?

download spyware blaster and check what type of settings have been changed on your web browser...

the spyware might be gone but the settings have been changed...

Download mozilla firefox then delete internet explorer
