Are People that Shop at Low cost Sports Outlets Inherrently Lazy ?

Need a rant , here goes.

Had my first Gym induction class thing booked for this morning at 10am. Slight problem , with me not being of the sporty type , I don't actually own any trainers suitable for a gym.

This , I thought to myself, isn't a huge issue. I can nip down to some form of retail outlet before the appointment and grab a pair.

    but oh no.

Presumably because of the demographic that lives in clothes purchased form JJB sports not actually surfacing from their government funded hovels until well after midday , shops such as JJB and the 2 other's I tried in a frantic dash around milton keynes DONT ACTUALLY OPEN UNTIL 10am !!

Every shop either side of them was open and doing a roaring trade , but presumably I must be the only person that want to buy trainers with my own money and not that which I'd just collected off benefits at this time of day.

Now I've had to cancel my appointment and rebook for 7:30 in the morning later in the week , which means getting up even earlier !

( for those that have said I should have gone earlier , this really was the first opportunity I've had to do any shopping since I booked the appointment )
rant over , for now...I suspect its not going to be the last Gym related rant from me though. I will be dragged kicking and screaming towards fitness

I did have a look at Tesco Trainers originally ( it was my first visit ) , but thought nah I'll be able to get some better ones at the other shops , which happened to be the other side of MK but I had time to spare at this point

I sympathise, it'd annoy me tbh. It's a bit late for a town centre shop, especially at christmas which is peak shopping time.

Cripes. I think of JJB as the more expensive end of sports shops. I dread to think what you think of me buying my karrimors from the likes of SportsWorld

They're good gyms on the whole. Been a member of the Colchester & Ipswich ones for years.

Well done on joining the gym, keep at it! I just so happen to be a part time fitness instructor myself.

I was gonna sign up there, but no Pool.

Need to get fit and improve my strength and stamina.

(and a couple of wobbly bits that could do with a tad of toning...)

I though you had a strictly Rave based fitness regime ? I think the platinum ones have a pool , so if you joined as a plat member you could use the london ones with pools ?
