Basically i need an option to send money to the US which isnt western union but yet instant (but not paypal, nochex etc) so its available to spend immediatly.
I don't know if you can bank xfer overseas but i'm not sure if ebay covers me for that.

Ebay only cover paypal and nothing else.

You can always use the bank and wire transfer to USA, but the fee is quite big if you are not sending much money.

Halifax charges £17.5 per transaction (regardless of sending or receiving), not sure what the other UK banks charge. And I think banks in USA charge $20 for receiving.

It will be slightly more expensive than Western Union and Paypal.

To be honest if it is less than $200, go for paypal, less than $500 go for western union, more than $500 go through the bank

SWIFT is the international way of doing a bank transfer, but its hardly any safer than WU.

Are you after an Escrow type service?
