Re: Have you ever had an expensive mobile bill...

I had £200 for one call - made by me, at midnight, in America, whilst with my wife, to my ex-girlfriend, who was in the Bahamas for 2 hours.

Except I obviously never made that call.
And according to her (I asked if I had called her) her battery died the first day she was there, so I spent those 2 hours, talking to her voicemail (which auto cuts off after 30 mins anyway).

After months of arguing, I still had to pay it though :@

At least the company lowered the bill:

Bell Mobility has since lowered the bill to $3,243, but Mr Staniaszek says he intends to fight the charges anyway.
He should be grateful in my opinion.

    Whats that?

Midnight call to the ex-girlfriend. For 2 hours. Denying you made it.

Re: Have you ever had an expensive mobile bill...

After reading the article the bloke gets what he deserves.

Not only is he french canadian which is worse that being french he was advised when downloading the software to use it as a modem there would be extra charges.

In the olden days of the internet(well the mid -late 90`s) I got phone bills for both xmas and my birthday off my parents. I was using the internet and managed to rack up bills of nearly 300 quid . This was back in the days when you only had 10 hours a month online with AOL and had to pay for calls as well. I got addicted to playing meridian 59 so signed up to msn ISP which was unlimited useage. So I played fora couple of hourts a night and got the bills for my 18th birthday and that xmas
