That's what I was thinking.. seems a tad ridiculous. Maybe the owners don't like the fact he is staying but they must have accepted it to allow him into their home?!
Seems a bit mad that criminals can give anyones address for bail and then be setup there over christmas...

I don't really believe it's as straight forward as the article makes out to be honest.

Judging be the picture of the family and their comments they do appear to be rather chavy and mentally vacant.

They must be really *vacant up there* if they stood back from the door, let him in and let the police install their monitoring stuff too ... All while not processing what was actually happening.

Disgraceful behaviour on both his and the court's part. I just hope they get rid of him by the 24/25th. Christmas dinner wouldn't be verry enjoyable with him around.

They should just put him in a shed or buy a cheap tent and give him a hot water bottle or something

The couple that live there are a pair of scruffy peasants aswell so they should all get on well enough.

I'll bet anyone a quid that they own a Staff Bull Terrier, she goes to the bingo 7 times a week, he drinks SKOL Lager in a really dirty armchair and that they buy alot of processed meat.

Oh...and they have a car in the front garden that doesnt work!

one weird article but i definitely wouldn't use this article as the proof that law is an ass.....my opinion though

edit - seems more like their daughter and the parents are having a domestic argument...

also seems like he has been living with them for a while now anyways...

Of course it's not proof. It's just a newspaper article. I didn't mean it was literal proof that the law is actually stupid. It's just a good example of how stupid the law can get, if it's allowed to.

Proof the law is stupid - the burglar who claimed loss of earnings and damages when he fell through the skylight of the house he intended to burgle and injured himself on a knife that was stood sharp end up in an open dishwasher.

    Wierd and wonderful.
