    My new house...

Well, technically not entirely new now as I moved in 3 months ago, but it was a brand new house, so that still counts...

Anyway just one photo to show you while I tidy up and get the rest done, which may take me a while (procrastination ftw!)

Its the right one of the pair, not too shabby if I must say so myself

It does look very swish - congratulations!

A word of warning, if you've not yet noticed - the room over the garage may well get quite cold compared to other rooms!

What's the location like, and the rest of the street - good neighbours?

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Location is rather nice, postcode when I checked it for bike insurance tried to tell me otherwise Being at the centre of the new development is fantastic, reasonably quiet and surrounded by nice modern houses. Next door neighbours were a bit loud to start with but nothing a friendly word didn't sort.

Room over the garage - luckily isn't mine - I've got the master bedroom with on suite

    Re: My new house...

Another characterless house. I prefer older house like the one i am living in which dates from around 1880.

If you lived in a craggy house from the 1880s you wouldn't make these mistakes.

    Re: My new house...

Are there actual bricks between your house and the neighbouring one?

If so, you've done well. But...if you're just renting it for a year, who gives a toss.

    Re: My new house...

Yes, there are bricks between my house and the one next door.

Oh, and yes I am just renting for a year, and perhaps next, but why should I not be proud of what I've found & now live in?

Not to mention I worked hard to get to uni and to pay for it.

    Re: My new house...

Another idiot landlord, he must be mad letting a new house to students

Looks ok, another new build bit of old ****e that will break and fall apart soon no doubt.

    Good for a student though.

    Re: My new house...

Waste of money renting for a year or more. Might aswell throw your money down a drain! then again, if you are a student i suppose it is the only option open to you.

Fair enough, each to their own opinion. I'm quite happy & just wanted to share it.

I'll get some other pics up sooner or later.
