We both believe that web 2.0 is a load of bollocks, and that bloggers are a bunch of self-righteous idiots:

I've said it before and I'll say it again - don't keep a blog, you nobby nob nob.
Noone wants to know what you had for dinner, if your friend Susan is preggers again, or the dog you seen in the park earlier with 3 legs.
Keep a blog if you have something to say. And even then, don't.
Thats definitely true. If you want to tell your mom and grandma call them directly.
People still blog? have they not heard of facebook - the ultimate way to bore everybody you know with the details of your life.
I must admit I am pretty bad myself, having recently posted a picture of my new sofa. In my defense it's a bloody nice sofa!
HEXUS FOLDING TEAM It's EASY
Facebook is, essentially, one giant blog blob, with extra features to ensure what remained of your privacy is gone, forever.
Oh... and I do hope you all enjoy my inevitable social networking article this Christmas, which I hope to post one year on from the last one... on Boxing Day![]()
I'm sure its a nice sofa mate, but apart from peeps you know personally, nobody gives a flying ****.
Once everyone understands this, blogs will decline.
The original article at Cnet's only semi-literate at best, too, which doesn't help much... The verb "delve" means to dig or excavate, or to carry out extensive research. It would help if Tobak had just said "give". The article would still have been bollocks, but somewhat less annoying bollocks.
Do you think he meant "dole" instead?
That would make sense.
Possibly; I think he just wanted to sound impressive, so used a word that he didn't actually understand. I wish people wouldn't do that; it reminds me of Humpty Dumpty in Through the Looking Glass - 'When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in a rather scornful tone,' it means just what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.' - and it actually makes their writing harder to understand than if they'd just written simply, clearly and accurately.
Yeah, I say delve sometimes. Sometimes I have a delve in the shed, see what I can find.
Delving ftw.
weird thread
you think?
not really. no more than usual in fact
