It will be my first day back at work tomorrow, and I am not looking forward to going. Not that I hate it, I just hate mornings. For the past few weeks my mornings have been 11am. Now to get up at 7am will just about finish me off!
Maybe I would be better at shift work ... Like 16:00-00:00!
I've been up for the last 3 working days till 1am for a 6am start...
was up from 6am friday to 4am on saturday morning
2.30pm (i know! power sleeping!) saturday to 4.30am sunday and back up again at 6 tomorrow.
burning the candle at both ends so much that i'm almost out of wax...
I'm really trying hard to get to sleep tonight before tomorrow (could people stop popping out the woodwork please? *glowers at Stringent*).

Well I made it in at 07:30. I DID think about stopping for a McDonalds breakfast, but am trying to think healthy eating this year, although my collegue did bring me a Krispy Kreme. DARN HIM!!!!!!!!!

I've been back since last thursday, arrived home at 12.30am on thursday morning after spending a few days in edinburgh, for hogmanay, and was in work at 7.30am... but this is the first day of my first full week back
I managed to get in at 9.10 having been to the post office to pick up my GFX and Mobo that they have kindly been looking after for me.
(I did make it into bed before tomorrow too, I'm well impressed with my self-discipline)
I'm really not feeling work today, after the excesses of the weekend. Need another day to recover.
(and my cough has come back... grr)
I was dreading going back to work having had about 5 weeks off but it wasn't too bad.
I started back on the 2nd and spent the whole day reading through email. On the 3rd I was over in Essex so didn't really do much work then on Friday I worked from home and finished beating my email into submission then sorted some Exchange issues.
Today I'm working from home and still trying to get over how empty my calendar is - for the first time in years I've got no foreign trips planned. It won't last, but I'll enjoy it while I can.

I've just been to Glasgow (foreign as far as I'm concerned, speak a language I can't understand and use funny money)
Gotta book flights to Dublin, IoM, France and Switzerland for various points this year - and none of it is work based. (possibly Ibiza too if I can justify the monies)

It didn't last, I've got to go to Paris towards the end of the month and Madrid some time before the end of February. Two trips in as many months is pretty much unheard of of late, I've been used to 3-4 trips per month.
Work aside I'm looking for flights to South Africa and Cyprus. Possibly Tokyo too. Holidays rawk!

im booking flights this afternoon to bangkok, adelaide, fiji, and new york... well its all one trip, rtw for 8 weeks, not work related in the slightest
Not quite busy as some of you lot! but none the less today has been my first day back after the Xmas break, and my god waking up at half 6 really wasnt appreciated!

I'm not sure waking up before 7 is EVER appreciated... especially not in the last 18+ months I've been doing it.Not quitw busy as some of you lot! but none the less today has been my first day back after the Xmas break, and my god waking up at half 6 really wasnt appreciated!
I'm a bit odd though, as I quite enjoy going to work in the dark, as I can watch the sun rise (if i stay awake long enough)
