    beethoven's dog + Ex-Ambassador

What the balls is the story with this? I watch Paramount Comedy, and (usually later in the evenings), they run this rubbish stuff in the ad breaks. They have a few, and they are proper rubbish! I can't stand it. They have one which is some bloke and his wife and he is the Ex-ambassador of something or other, and he lost his job, and then theres this Beethoven's dog where this stupid CGI dog talks to you with some rubbish script that isn't funny. The thing that bugs me, is that neither of them are in the slightest amusing. Maybe other people enjoy it? I just tried to understand it but I can't see any humour there. It just doesn't seem funny or clever and it's so bad and so annoying, that I'd rather just watch adverts.

The sad thing is, if they are putting this stuff on to help/promote new up coming comics/script writers, then they are doing a rubbish job because it seems to only be these things for the past year or more. There are a couple of others, but there are no doubt loads of more talented people in the UK who they could be giving the opportunity to. Either that or just run adverts as normal and make some money to afford better shows. I'd much rather watch adverts than this pants.

I don't mind the ex-ambassador stuff, but that Beethoven's Dog creeps me out. I actually turn the channel to avoid watching it. Plus it's crap.

    Re: beethoven's dog + Ex-Ambassador

Yeah the dog is quite creepy. It would be alright if it was funny, but it just isn't. Makes me wonder if there is anyone watching that thinks its ok Or maybe everyone would rather there be something else, and Paramount just don't realise.
