Woooooo Lego, bestest invention ever.
My favourite 5th birthday present!
Still got a load in the attic. Marvellous stuff.
After security systems, the best thing to come out of Denmark!
Yeah - it was awesome - but my Great Dane at a few pieces. And two subbuteo players. Damn him!
Yay! I grew up creating with Lego - one of the best items you can give to a young developing mind
I still (at 35) pop over to the site to see what they're coming out with next. The Space series was my favourite. Ah, the memories.
I have to agree with James May too - that was the best bit about Lego, trying to figure out how to make those shapes/angles with what you had. Still at least they continue to make the more traditional pieces.
Here's to another 50 years
Can't remember what i used to lose more of mechano or lego. Anyways lego is cool.

Hmmm, I might have to order up something silly like the Lego Star Destroyer to celebrate

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Both this and Meccanno (sp?) are two of the classic toys for all ages
