Paypal Petition...

You may not have ever had any problems with paypal... however... they are not currently governed by UK banking laws, so if you do have any problems it is entirely up to paypal how they treat you and your money... which could mean through no fault of your own, they may take money from you, or freeze your account, leaving you out of pockets for hundreds of pounds...

So please sign this petition asking for them to be regulated by UK banking laws:

ebay fees then paypal. and you know a friend who was trying to sell his wii there was pissed because he couldnt avoid using paypal. they made it so you cant create a listing for consoles that make money or selll well if you dont take paypal as the only payment. Ripoff! and signed.

I tried to do a One Day Listing today and it told me to bugger off as i dont accept Paypal........rubbish isnt it!

I would rather keep the item than give those chimps any of my cash.

As Moogle and Blitzen said, one day auctions arent allowed unless you use PayPal. This is a joke imo.

After the final value fee and paypal taking a cut, its not really worth the effort of selling some items.

With all the horror stories of paypal literally robbing people of their money with terms and conditions set out to royally screw you over, i would love to ditch them. I try and offer a discount incentive for paying with a postal order or anything else whenever possible but most people would still rather use paypal.
